How Onni got here
1959
The family arrives
The De Cotiis family leaves Italy for Canada, looking for a better life. Nobody in it has built anything yet.
1964
The first building
A nineteen unit rental apartment in North Vancouver. It is finished, and the family turns to development full time.
1965
Viam Holdings
The family incorporates its first company, Viam Holdings Ltd.
Mid 1990s
Onni is formed
The brothers go their own way. Inno starts Onni with his sons, and names it after himself, spelled backwards.
Then
Across the border
Onni expands to Toronto, then into the United States. Los Angeles, Chicago, Phoenix and Seattle.

Where it builds
